Tissot's Poulsard is a red wine from Jura, produced with the grape variety of the same name.
The winemaking takes place in terracotta amphorae where the wine remains in contact with the skins for 3 months, followed by another 3 months of rest in the same amphorae.
The Poulsard Amphore by Bénédicte & Stéphane Tissot is a "wild" wine, suitable more for lovers of the genre than for beginners, which can give strong emotions.
The nose is pungent but rich in facets, with a fruit that recalls the sweetness of Pinot Noir rounded off by very characteristic smoky and woody notes. On the palate we find very fine tannin and a marked acidity, which leads to an almost compulsive drinking.
