Muffato "Pourriture Noble" 2019 50 cl Decugnano dei Barbi

Orvieto is one of the few areas in the world where, thanks to a particular microclimate, every year the grapes are attacked by Botrytis Cinerea and it is possible to produce botrytized wines.

"Pourriture Noble" is obtained from Sauvignon Blanc, Semillon, Grechetto and Procanico grapes, harvested several times to carefully select only the best grapes.

After a delicate pressing, the wine ferments in French oak barriques for about a month at 17-19 ° C, then completes its refinement after 6 months in the bottle before being marketed.

Pourriture Noble Decugnano dei Barbi is a wine with a very particular bouquet, with notes of saffron and sweet spices combined with more fruity scents; the sip is dense and almost creamy, with a slight perception of sweetness.

Perfect as a meditation wine, during the meal it is ideal to combine it with blue cheeses or liver-based dishes.
