Sauternes 1er Cru Classé 2017 37.5 cl Chateau Suduiraut
Ch. SuduirautChateau Suduirat is one of the 1er cru classè dating back to the classification of 1855.
Sauternes Chateau Suduirat is produced in the traditional way, with 94% Semillon and 6% Sauvignon; the vinification and aging take place in barriques, partially new and partially used, for about 20 months.
The bouquet of this Sauternes Chateau Suduirat is very broad, with notes of saffron and oriental spices combined with hints of tropical fruit, such as mango and papaya. On the palate it is round and creamy, almost chewable; the barely perceptible acidity gives harmony to the sip and a very long aromatic finish gives this sauternes a touch of uniqueness.
Try it, not only as a dessert wine or to pair with cheeses, but with a terrine of smoked eel and cauliflower cream!
