Located in Castellet, the small parcels are organized in terraces to give ample space to the Mourvèdre. The soil is poor, made up of limestone, sandstone and marl from the upper marine cretaceous. The acidity of the soil and the low rainfall are compensated by the sea air of the Gulf of Bandol.
Composed of Grenache 20% Cinsault 25% Mourvèdre 55% grapes, the Bandol Chateau Romassan is a wine with a soft pink color and strong golden reflections with a fresh nose that combines elegance and delicacy, developing aromas of citrus, vine peach and white flowers.
The taste of Bandol is fine, intense and very silky and reveals delicious aromas of pomelo and small red fruits, wonderfully harmonious, which lead to a finish with notes of licorice.
