It is difficult to define the Vin Santo di San Giusto in Rentennano as a sweet wine, it is more of a heavenly nectar.

To produce it, only Malvasia and Trebbiano grapes are used, harvested when fully ripe and left to dry for 120 days. They are then pressed and placed in chestnut barrels, where they ferment and refine for 6 years, during which the wine is highly concentrated due to about 40% evaporation. Before bottling, the wine is filtered drop by drop, in order to have a final product of excellent quality.

Tasting the Vin San Giusto of San Giusto a Rentennano has a truly unique gustatory richness and complexity and you will seem to drink a syrup; it is a wine to try at least once in a lifetime.
