The name of this wine derives from the tower that marks the highest point of the Podere. The same from which Gigiotto di Rocca d`Orcia, returning from the Napoleonic campaigns, defended his grapes from the bandits who infested the area.

The Guardiavigna Podere Forte is a wine from Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Petit Verdot grapes; elegant, harmonious and well structured, it returns all the sun and the scents of the most beautiful Tuscany, the serene one, free from brigands.
