Chateau Ferriere is a small estate located in the commune of Margaux, in Bordeaux; of all the cru classè of the 1855 classification, this is the smallest, extending over a vineyard of only 12 hectares.
Chateau Ferriere Grand Cru Classè is a very interesting wine, with a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and a touch of Cabernet Franc; 18 months in barrique soften the hardness and make the wine silky and refined.
1996 was an excellent year, among the best of the 90s, especially in the Margaux area; we are dealing with a wine that today is certainly in the highest quality, and also considering the price it is an opportunity not to be missed!
