Barolo "Vigna Rionda" Riserva 2016 75 cl Massolino
MassolinoVigna Rionda is the quintessence of Barolo and, in this case, also the flag of the Massolino company, one of the first to believe in this vineyard for several years ago, in fact it has owned part of this vineyard since 1982.
The vinification follows a very traditional style, with a long maceration of 40 days and 42 months of aging in large barrels, followed by 24 months in the bottle.
Vigna Rionda Riserva 2016 Massolino is a deep and complex Barolo, with practically infinite evolutionary potential.
On the nose we find flowers, red fruits, incense and tobacco for a unique bouquet of its kind; on the palate, despite a dense and aggressive tannin, it is incredibly pleasant, warm, silky and enveloping.
In winter, in front of the fireplace, with a wagyu fillet and purple potato purée, and a bottle of Vigna Rionda Riserva Massolino; a perfect time.
