The Macallan Single Malt Scotch Whiskey "A Night on Earth in Scotland" is produced in a special edition to tell the story of New Year's Eve in Scotland.

The casket in which it is presented was specially designed for this bottle, and the drawings that cover it are an artistic celebration of New Year's Eve created by French-Japanese illustrator Erica Dorn, whose work has appeared in director Wes Anderson's films.

"Hogmanay" is the renowned New Year celebration in Scotland. This festival includes a "lucky charm" custom whereby the first person with dark hair who crosses the threshold of your house after the stroke of midnight must bring three things: biscuits, whiskey and coal for the fire. Each gift is designed to bring comfort and happiness to your home for the rest of the year. Shortbread is also an important flavoring in whisky.

Whiskey "A Night on Earth in Scotland" The Macallan is obtained from the assembly of whiskeys aged in American and European ex Sherry oak barrels and American ex Bourbon barrels.

It is a distillate with a sweet and rich character, which veers a lot on soft and delicate notes. The nose opens with clear hints of vanilla, butter, apple and baked biscuits. In the mouth it releases all its sweetness, soft and velvety reminiscent of shortcrust pastry, the taste is completed by delicate notes of dried oranges, figs and cinnamon.

A Night on Earth in Scotland Macallan is a whiskey that perfectly reflects tradition, magnificent to taste smooth to relax after dinner, combined with shortbread biscuits.
