What about this champagne? If you are a lover of Chardonnay you must try it, it is the flagship product of Dhondt-Grellet, a young vigneron in Cramant, Flavigny, in the heart of the Cotes des Blancs.
Le Bateau Cramant Vieilles Vignes Dhondt-Grellet Blanc des Blancs vintage 2016 is obtained from the oldest vines of the company planted in 1951 in the lieu-dit "Le Bateau".
The vinification takes place in barriques on indigenous yeasts, malolactic fermentation is carried out and no filtration or clarification is applied. Bottled in 2017 with 2021 disgorgement, it is dosed extra brut.
This special edition of Le Bateau Dhondt-Grellet contains three bottles, one to drink today, one in 5 years and one in 15!
