Champagne Extra Brut "Solessence" 75 cl JM Sélèque
J-M SélèqueThe Solessence Extra Brut by JM Sélèque is an assembly champagne, obtained with Chardonnay, Pinot Meunier and, to a lesser extent, Pinot Noir grapes, coming from the various company vineyards located between the Marne Valley and Cotes de Blancs.
Still wines are vinified partly in steel and partly in wood. After blending with vin de reserve, the refermentation in the bottle starts and lasts for about 18 months.
Solessence Extra Brut JM Sélèque is an entry-level champagne but it doesn't seem like it; the complexity combined with its elegance make it a product of the highest quality, with notes of roasting and pastry that combine with fresh notes of citrus and white fruit, to then close with the typical mineral notes. The sip is long and wide: the freshness and flavor give it momentum and persistence while its structure and its evolution give it roundness and breadth. A pleasure!
