Livia Fontana owns about half a hectare of the splendid Bussia vineyard, in the municipality of Monforte d’Alba; here the subsoil is the meeting point between marl and sandstone, with a very balanced soil in the sandy and calcareous components.

The result is a wine with a great balance, ready to drink in the early years but with enormous evolutionary potential.

The Barolo Bussia by Livia Fontana releases notes of violet and raspberry preceding hints of tobacco and cinchona. On the palate it is never aggressive, with a graceful and well integrated tannin that makes the drink velvety and silky.
