Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG "Vigneti di Jago" 2016 75 cl Domini Veneti
Domini VenetiAmarone Vigneti by Jago Domini Veneti is a red wine produced with only grapes from the micro-area of Jago, in Valpolicella, known for being one of the most suitable areas of the appellation, and 2016 was a textbook vintage!
The vineyards are located between 200 and 250 m a.s.l. with south-east exposure. The vines have an average of 15 years with a yield of 20hl per hectare.
Composed of 60% Corvina, 15% Corvinone, 15% Rondinella and 10% other grapes as per disciplinary. Amarone Vigneti by Jago Domini Veneti, after a period of about 2 months of drying, and about 1 month of maceration, completes the malolactic fermentation and is transferred to barrique and then in the bottle, where it completes its refinement.
Vigneti di Jago Domini Veneti is a full-bodied wine, with intense aromas of cherry and black cherry accompanied by notes of cocoa and licorice. The sip is warm and round, with a slight sugary residue that makes it even tastier and perfect to be enjoyed even in relaxation.
