Aqvarello 75 cl Chioccioli Altadonna
Chioccioli AltadonnaAqvarello di Chioccioli Altadonna, is a Sangiovese wine designed to bring back to the table a tradition, the aromas and sensations of the "wine of the past", a unique product created for the pleasure of simple and sincere things.
Aqvarello Chioccioli Altadonna, is a slightly sparkling Sangiovese Toscano with a low alcohol content and high drinking potential: "Aqvarello" is born from the encounter between wine and water.
They call it "Aqvarello, Ancestral Natural Tradition" because it is a wine that comes from ancient traditions, the food-wine that for centuries has quenched the thirst of the peoples of the Mediterranean.
Aqvarello is natural because it is a living product, whose only ingredients are grapes and water.
Finally, Aqvarello is ancestral because it is a drink born of an ancient culture, based on the art of reuse and reuse. This type of wine was produced for sharecroppers and they did it in this simple way: the must from which the "first" wine was born, was reused and diluted with water to create a new drink.
With this idea, Chioccioli Altadonna's Aqvarello was conceived, to bring back to the table a tradition, the aromas and sensations of the "wine of the past", a unique product created for the pleasure of simple and sincere things.
After two weeks in contact with the skins, the wine is diluted with water and a small percentage of must is added to conclude with a fermentation in the bottle on the yeasts.
Aqvarello is a slightly sparkling red wine, in the glass it has a bright, intense and impenetrable red color. The aromas recall the wine of the past, with hints of wild strawberries. In the mouth it is initially particular and atypical, and then it surprises sip after sip for its freshness and ease of drinking, thanks also to the low alcohol content (7.5%).
Ideal wine for hot summer afternoons, perhaps to accompany a sandwich with salami, just like in the past!
Please note: yeasts are still present inside the bottle.
