The Nervi winery has been owned by Giacomo Conterno for some years and the change of style towards more refined and profound wines is now evident.

This Gattinara Nervi red wine is an assembly obtained from Nebbiolo grapes from the various company vineyards and offers a complete vision of what this area has to offer. The vinification takes place in steel tanks and the refinement lasts 36 months in oak barrels.

The nose is deep and complex, with many scents ranging from red fruit to oriental spices, a ferrous and bloody note, which is also perceived on the palate, very intriguing. The tannic part is present but not intrusive, perfectly balanced within the sip.

Gattinara Nervi Conterno is an intense and elegant red wine, to drink with a fillet of beef, celeriac and red cabbage.
