Massimo Abbate is a Piedmontese producer who aims for high quality, and is growing rapidly!

The company's vineyards are few and are divided between Neive and Castagnole, for small-scale production.

His Nebbiolo is a failed Barbaresco; combines the depth and complexity of the latter with the smoothness and lightness of simple Nebbiolo. Maceration for about 1 month and then aging for 1 year, partly in barriques and partly in tonneaux.

Massimo Abbate Nebbiolo smells of fruit and flowers that share the bouquet, with notes of spice and vanilla to follow. On the palate it is a noble wine, with smooth tannins and vibrant acidity: amazing.
