Amarone Riserva "Mater" is the most important wine of Domini Veneti, a traditional Amarone, produced only in vintages that have reached the required requirements.
The bottle is beautiful, the label is a work by the artist Gianni Burato, an image that reflects the close link with Mother Nature.
To produce Amarone Mater Domini Veneti, the typical Valpolicella grapes from the Jago vineyard are used. After drying for over 4 months, it is vinified in steel tanks and then moved to barriques for refinement, lasting at least 3 years.
Warm, soft and enveloping, Mater Domini Veneti is an irresistible wine, with a complex and varied bouquet and a structured but also drinkable sip, thanks to a splendid harmony between all the phenolic components, a sweet tannin which gives softness and elegance, the aromas of dried fruit, spices and tobacco. A light residual sugar emerges on the finish which also makes it perfect as a meditation wine, to drink after dinner.
