Teroldego 2024 75cl Foradori
ForadoriVigneti delle Dolomiti IGT Teroldego 2024 - Foradori
Authentic, juicy, and deeply connected to the Campo Rotaliano: this 2024 Teroldego is a faithful expression of its terroir and a magnificent creation by Elisabetta Foradori, a pioneer of Italian natural viticulture and the foremost interpreter of this grape variety.
A red wine crafted exclusively from the indigenous Teroldego grape, the fruit comes from vineyards established through massal selection and the restoration of genetic diversity across various sites in the Campo Rotaliano: a plain nestled between mountains, formed by the action of the Noce River. Here, the vines take root in alluvial, gravelly-sandy soils and are tended with immense respect through biodynamic practices.
This same philosophy extends to the winery, where the clusters are gently destemmed and left to cold-macerate with the stems, in quantities that vary by vintage, for approximately 10 to 15 days. Spontaneous fermentation follows in concrete tanks, while the wine is aged for 12 months in a combination of oak barrels and concrete vessels.
Tasting notes
Foradori’s 2024 Teroldego finds its greatest strength in simplicity. On the palate, it offers a fragrant, juicy, and incredibly vinous character; combined with a fresh, dynamic personality, it makes for a thoroughly delightful drinking experience.
