Chardonnay Platt & Pignat 2021 75 cl Josephus Mayr

The Chardonnay Platt & Pignat Josephus Mayr is a full-bodied and smooth white wine that accompanies fish dishes and white meats.

The Chardonnay vines used stand on alluvial soils of porphyritic and pebbly origin dating back to the Ice Age.

The vines are trained according to the pergola system, with one fruiting head per vine. After the harvest, crushing-destemming and soft pressing of the grapes, decantation of the must for 24 hours by sedimentation and subsequent fermentation in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 20°C. The refinement takes place in steel tanks without malolactic fermentation and at low temperatures.

Chardonnay Platt & Pignat Josephus Mayr is a greenish yellow wine, the nose reveals hints of banana and pineapple. In the mouth we find a light mineral tone, full and harmonious.
