Montalto is a poetic wine, an almost moving expression of carricante.

The Montalto vineyard is very small, about 2 hectares, and is located in the locality of the same name at an extreme altitude for the production of wine, i.e. 950 metres. The plants are very old, reaching almost 100 years of age and are all trained as saplings.

Le Vigne Niche Montalto of Tenuta delle Terre Nere is a wine that vibrates, acidity and flavor are the two fundamental components and are perfectly balanced within the sip. The bouquet is also beautiful, with references to white flowers and tropical fruit followed by notes of white pepper and aromatic herbs.
