Etna Bianco "Le Vigne Niche Santo Spirito" 2021 75 cl Tenuta delle Terre Nere
Tenuta delle Terre NereThe "Santo Spirito" district is, together with "Calderara Sottana", one of the best grand crus for the cultivation of vines on the northern slope of Etna; Marc de Grazia, owner of the Terre Nere, has always believed in this area not only for red wines but also for white wines, and the results can be seen in this bottle.
The Vigne Niche Santo Spirito Tenuta delle Terre Nere is a pure Carricante, the vines are very old, even reaching 100 years of age, and grow in soil particularly rich in volcanic ash. Vinification and aging take place in large oak barrels.
The nose is pimp and refined, it doesn't give itself away immediately but when it does it leaves you amazed: complexity and finesse. On the palate it confirms the delicacy of the aromas with a fresh and savory sip, which almost recalls a Chablis due to its tension and verticality.
