Sauvignon "Sanct Valentin" 2022 75 cl San Michele Appiano
San Michele AppianoSince 1989 the St Michael Eppan company has been producing one of its best white wines and one of the most awarded white wines in Italy: the Sauvignon of the Sanct Valentin line.
The grapes come from carefully selected plots at the foot of the Mendola, more precisely in San Michele and Appiano Monte (450-600 m).
The fermentation takes place partly in steel vats (75%), in which the wine rests on the fine yeasts until the end of April. The remaining part (25%) is vinified and aged in tonneaux.
The Sauvignon Sanct Valentin by San Michele Appiano is a great, superior class wine, with seductive fruit, excellent minerality and persistence.
A perfect companion for any special occasion. This Sauvignon goes wonderfully with grilled fish, such as perch and sole, or with char in pepper sauce, or even with a tasty vegetable risotto.
