Barbera d'Asti "Bricco dell’Uccellone" 2018 3lt Braida
BraidaBricco dell'Uccellone Braida is a red wine made from Barbera grapes, an icon among the Barberas of Asti.
The grapes come from Rocchetta Tanaro in the province of Asti; the maceration lasts for 20 days at a controlled temperature, and then refines in 225lt oak barrels for 15 months and one year in the bottle.
The Barbera d'Asti Bricco dell'Uccellone Braida has a very intense ruby red color with garnet reflections.
The aroma is rich, complex, of notable concentration and depth, in particular hints of small red fruits are highlighted, with some balsamic spices, vanilla and licorice in the background.
In the mouth it is generous, with great body and notable structure, perfect balance between the character of the vine and the contribution of the wood, in a combination of great softness and great class, very long aromatic persistence.
Accompanies large meat dishes, roasts, even with sauces and mature cheeses.
