Barbera d'Alba DOC 2015 75 cl ForteMasso
ForteMassoBarbera d'Alba Doc from the ForteMasso winery is a full and harmonious Piedmontese red, aged 12 months in barriques. The bouquet is pleasantly balanced with floral notes, hints of blackberries and an intense finish of spices and sweet tobacco.
Barbera d'Alba ForteMasso is a very fragrant and full-bodied red wine, from 100% Barbera grapes grown in the municipality of Castelletto in Piedmont.
The vines of this Barbera d'Alba are located on a clayey, calcareous soil, facing south.
The harvest is done manually in small boxes and immediately crushed and left to ferment in temperature-controlled wine vessels. From the first days of fermentation, daily pumping over is carried out in order to facilitate the extraction of the coloring matter. After alcoholic fermentation, the wine is left to macerate on the skins for 7-8 days and then the malolactic fermentation begins, to make it more pleasant to drink.
Finally, the refinement is carried out in barriques for 12 months and in bottle for a further 6 months and is ready to be tasted in its fullness.
A Barbera d'Alba ForteMasso with a clear color, an intense garnet with aromas of chocolate, blackberry, floral notes of rose and sweet tobacco.
On the palate it is full, warm and harmonious, slightly sapid and with a pleasantly spicy finish.
