The Nebbiolo Langhe Doc from the ForteMasso winery is a harmonious and enjoyable Piedmontese red, characterized by floral and fruity aromas of raspberries and cherries.
Nebbiolo ForteMasso is a red wine that comes from the heart of the Langhe, in Castelletto in Piedmont.
Its vines, indicated for the production of Barolo, are grown on sandy and calcareous soils facing east, south-east.
The harvest is done manually in small 20 kg crates, immediately crushed and fermented in stainless steel. From the first days of fermentation, daily pumping over is carried out in order to facilitate the extraction of color and aromas from the peel. After the first decanting, the wine starts malolactic fermentation to make it more pleasant to drink.
Finally the refinement, which lasts a few months before being bottled in spring.
This Nebbiolo ForteMasso has an intense ruby red color, with violet reflections; the nose is perceived clean, broad with floral notes of violet and fruity raspberry, cherry and plum. Harmonious on the palate, full, savory and the finish slightly dry and pleasantly fruity.
