Le Volte dell'Ornellaia combines the Mediterranean character of generosity and opulence with structure and complexity. The accessible style of Le Volte dell’Ornellaia in a selection of Merlot, Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon.
Vinified in small steel tanks, it is immediately subjected to an alcoholic and malolactic fermentation always in steel tanks.
Its fermentation takes place first in barriques previously used for the Ornellaia and subsequently in cement tanks. These passages give Le Volte a perfect balance between tannic structure and fruity aroma.
In the glass it reveals itself in its intense ruby red. The nose is pleasantly complex and aromatic, in the mouth, harmonious and fruity notes invade the palate ending in a crisp and lively finish.
A perfect wine to drink immediately or to keep for another 4/5 years, in both cases it will not disappoint you.
