Mayr Josephus' Lagrein Kretzer is a small South Tyrolean gem.

The Lagrein grapes are left to dry in the vineyard until almost the end of October, in order to concentrate the sugars and aromatic substances within the grain as much as possible. After the harvest, the grapes are selected one by one and sent to fermentation which takes place partly in steel tanks and partly in oak barrels.

The Lagrein Kretzer Josephus Mayr has a bouquet that includes a myriad of aromatic notes ranging from red fruit to dried fruit, also passing through spicy and balsamic hints. The sip is dense, very sweet but with a hint of freshness that gives harmony and pleasure.
