Rosso Colli Orientali del Friuli 2020 75 cl Miani
MianiMiani's Rosso Colli Orientali del Friuli DOC is a red wine made from Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Tezzelenghe grapes, full and refined and aged in French oak barrels.
The Rosso from the Miani winery is an excellent Friulian red wine, with an intense and full-bodied character, the result of the scrupulous and loving care of Enzo Pontoni.
The vines that make up this splendid red are grown on the Colli Orientali del Friuli, in Buttrio (UD), on mixed soils of clay and sand, rich in minerals. The combined varieties are Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Tezzelenghe, a union that allows the typical Friulian character to emerge. The refinement in French oak barrels lasting 24 months gives hints of spicy aromas to this Rosso di Miani.
The color is ruby red with black cherry reflections. On the nose you can enjoy the fruity notes of plum, red fruits and black cherries in harmony with the characteristic vegetal notes of Cabernet Franc and spicy aromas of cloves, pink pepper and tobacco.
Rosso Miani has a full and enveloping body in the mouth, with a marked dynamism and strength in perfect balance with the fruity notes. The finish is persistent and leaves time to savor all its aromas.
