Merlot "Marina Cvetic" 2017 75 cl Masciarelli
MasciarelliMerlot Marina Cvetic by Masciarelli is a great red wine produced near Ofena, a mountainous area in Abruzzo, at the foot of the Gran Sasso.
In this area the climate, despite the altitude, is hot during the day but very cool at night and these temperature variations make the climate ideal for the cultivation of Merlot, which reaches a very balanced maturation. The vinification takes place in steel tanks and follows a refinement of approximately 1 year in barrique and another 2 years in the bottle.
Merlot Marina Cvetic Masciarelli is an intriguing wine, on the nose we perceive notes of ripe red fruit but also mentholated and balsamic hints that anticipate the freshness that we then find on the palate, with an acidity that balances the structure and power of the wine very well.
