Sandro Fay is considered the point of reference in one of the lesser known sub-areas of Valtellina, that of Valgella.

With the Il Glicine red wine, the Fay family also wanted to offer their own version of Sassella, vinifying the grapes from the vineyard of the same name which falls within this sub-area.

Like all the wines of the Saldro Fay company, also in "Il Glicine" the distinctive trait is certainly the juiciness and pleasantness in drinking, with very fine tannins and a pleasant acidity. On the nose the fruit dominates and the spicy part remains in the background to give complexity.
