The bunches are carefully selected before vinification, followed by refinement in small oak barrels which lasts for a few months.

Chianti Badia a Passignano is a ruby colored wine that expresses fruity notes of cherry, bitter, hints of berries and exotic fruits followed by floral and sweet spice notes. On the palate it is rich and balanced, with the typical freshness of Sangiovese perfectly balanced by a silky and enveloping tannic texture. The finish is savory and vibrant, long-lasting.
