Brunello di Montalcino Tenuta Greppo Riserva by Biondi Santi is a wine produced with only Sangiovese grapes from the oldest vineyards of Tenuta Greppo. 1988 was an excellent vintage, with a regular climate trend, today this wine is at the height of its splendor and will give emotions to those who are lucky enough to taste it.

 

The "Riserva" is produced from the "Greppo" Sangiovese vineyards, over 25 years old and only in the best harvests.

The Brunello di Montalcino Riserva 1988 Tenuta Greppo Biondi Santi is a wine born under the splendid star of an exceptional vintage.

The seasonal climatic trend was excellent, the refinement took place in Slavonian oak barrels for 3 years, which was followed by a very long refinement in the bottle in the refinement cellar of Tenuta Greppo, where all the historical Riserva vintages are preserved Blonde Saints.

The Brunello Tenuta Greppo Riserva 1988 remained in the cellar of Tenuta Greppo until the beginning of 2024.

The 1988 vintage has a beautiful nose, with aromas of berries, leather, mentholated hints and blood orange. On the palate it presents velvety, refined tannins and with a stunning acidity, despite its age it appears young and lively.

Brunello Tenuta Greppo Riserva 1988 is a wine for lovers of ethereal sensations, elegance and finesse.
