Biondi Santi's Rosso di Montalcino is a small Brunello, just think that the Sangiovese grapes come from the same vineyard used to produce the Riserva, only from the youngest plants, between 5 and 10 years of age.

The Rosso di Montalcino 2020 Biondi Santi was aged for 12 months in Slavonian oak barrels.

On the nose it expresses aromas of red berries and plums, followed by notes of cedar and orange peel, with light balsamic notes. On the palate it is vibrant and smooth, a perfectly integrated and silky tannin with a savory and persistent finish. An elegant and persuasive vintage, 2020.
