The Fiano is in fact a noble and ancient variety of Campania origin. "Cometa" best expresses the characteristics of this extraordinary vine in an original and unique way.
Cometa Planeta ferments 90% in steel and 10% in 225 liter barriques. After a period of aging on the fine lees, it is assembled and prepared for bottling.
Intense and fruity aromas, its great structure and minerality make it today one of the reference white wines of Southern Italy.
On the nose, Cometa Planeta releases floral scents, delicate notes of chamomile, thyme, hay and mandarin. On the palate it is mineral with traces of vibrant flavor that shake and quench your thirst. Harmonious wine, an invitation to sip calmly while fully enjoying every nuance. The finish is silky with a very refined aftertaste of ripe apricots and basil.
The Cometa di Planeta is a wine ready to drink immediately, and can reach 15 years of aging, giving great surprises also in the future.
