Verdicchio Castelli di Jesi DOC Classico Le Vaglie is a wine that was born in 1992 with the intention of breaking away from the usual patterns of tradition. At the same time, however, by experimenting and daring, he manages to give credit to the great wine history of the Marche region.
To celebrate 20 years of production, in 2012 the company launched five other colored labels on the market in addition to the historic white label. A stylistic choice that still continues to characterize this wine today to respond to a growing enthusiasm on the part of Le Vaglie's admirers.
The type of soil is sandy tuff, facing South / East and North / East at an altitude of 250/260 m asl. Upside-down counter-espalier training system. The vinification lasts 21 days and takes place in steel tanks with constant temperature control. It is then left free in wooden barrels.
From the visual examination emerges a straw yellow, brilliant with slightly golden hues. Intense and persistent on the nose, it releases floral aromas with citrus fruit and fresh almonds. The taste is fresh and soft, good closure with a clear almond hint.
