Pinot Grigio Collio DOP 2022 75 cl Sturm

Pinot Grigio Sturm, a white wine from Collio, with character, fruity and changeable.

The vineyards are over 35 years old and are located in the municipality of Cormòns (GO).

The harvest is done manually from the end of October to the beginning of September. An unmacerated Pinot Gris. Fermentation takes place in steel tanks at a controlled temperature between 16° and 18°C. The aging on the lees lasts a few months before bottling.

Pinot Grigio Sturm is a chameleon-like, dynamic, fruity wine with an intense straw yellow colour. The nose has hints of pear and banana that change into wild flowers and apricot. A wine of extreme length, intriguing and with a silky texture, it is perfectly balanced in the mouth with a long aftertaste rich in aromas.

This Pinot Grigio is excellent in combination with steamed crustaceans and molluscs, a perfect combination for the fatness of the wine.
