Egon Muller draws some of his best Rieslings from the famous "Scharzhofberger" vineyard, in this case in the kabinett version, i.e. with a lower residual sugar.

Fermentation takes place spontaneously in the foudres, large, very old wooden barrels, and then rests for a few years in the bottle.

Riesling Kabinett "Scharzhofberger" Egon Muller is an almost sharp wine due to its great acidity, which is however balanced by the residual sugars which give the sip a unique balance.
