Bianco 2016 75 cl Chateau Musar
Chateau MusarIf you are tired of the usual wines and want to try something different, the white of Chateau Musar is the one for you; we are in Lebanon and this is one of the most important wineries, born thanks to the intuition of Gaston Hochar after a trip to Bordeaux.
The vineyards are located in the famous Bekaa Valley at an altitude of around 1,000 metres, an area celebrated for viticulture since biblical times. The location of the vineyards, combined with the Hochar family's respect for the environment, has seen the land cultivated organically since the 1950s, long before the term became fashionable.
The White of Chateau Musar is a blend of Obaideh and Merwah (varieties similar to Chardonnay), fermented partly in steel and partly in barriques and aged for 4 years in the bottle.
A unique wine, which will amaze you with the cleanliness and sharpness of the aromas and with its creaminess and richness of taste. So good that it doesn't need pairings.
