Pinot Bianco "Sanct Valentin" 2021 75 cl San Michele Appiano
San Michele AppianoPinot Bianco is the most cultivated grape variety by the San Michele Appiano company, therefore it could not be missing from the prestigious Sanct Valentin line.
The grapes come from a single plot, one of the most suitable. Half of the grapes carry out their vinification in barrique-tonneaux with alcoholic and malolactic fermentation on the yeasts. The remaining part is vinified in large oak barrels. After about a year the assembly takes place and the maturation is completed with 8 months in steel tanks.
The Pinot Bianco Sanct Valentin San Michele Appiano is a thick white wine, aged for a long time; its longevity testifies to an extraordinary quality!
It will surprise you over the years with hydrocarbon notes that recall the great Alsatian whites and a truly exceptional depth, both aromatic and gustatory.
Pinot Bianco Sanct Valentin, the ideal wine for fish-based dishes such as tuna carpaccio, octopus on potato tartare and olives. It also goes well with asparagus and typical regional dishes such as "Schlutzkrapfen", "half-moon" ravioli filled with ricotta and spinach.
