Champagne Extra Brut "Carré Or" 75 cl Sylvie Moreau
Moreau SylvieCarrè d'Or Sylvie Moreau is a niche champagne, a pearl of a small maison located in the Vallee de la Marne.
The Carrè d'Or champagne is produced with Meunier, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay and 40% of the cuveè is made up of vin de reserve obtained with the solera method, starting as early as 1963. It ages on the lees for 108 months and is sold only after at least 2 years from disgorgement.
We are therefore faced with a full-bodied champagne, with a full and decisive taste, very rich from an aromatic point of view; Carrè d'Or Sylvie Moreau on the nose veers on tertiary notes of sweet spices, roasting and bread crust; on the palate we find the soft and oxidative notes but there is also a surprising freshness, which only great champagnes can maintain despite the very long refinement.
