Colore 2006 Toscana rosso IGT 75 cl Bibi Graetz
Bibi GraetzColore by Bibi Graetz is a red wine created from the excellent Tuscan tradition, particularly full-bodied, strong, complex and full of structure. Composed of Sangiovese, Canaiolo and Colorino grapes, it ages in French oak barriques for 30 months and 18 in the bottle.
Colore Toscana Rosso IGT is the maximum expression of Bibi Graetz's dream.
The goal was to create a pure excellence of Tuscany, a wine made of its tradition.
Its grapes come from vineyards that are over 60 years old, the oldest and rarest in the region, which stand on clay and marl soils.
The varieties that make up this Colore are: 1/3 Sangiovese, 1/3 Canaiolo, 1/3 Colorino.
Once the harvest has been carried out, the clusters are carefully selected to be then subjected to a soft pressing, the must is subsequently placed in uncovered barriques and treated with 8-10 daily manual punching down at regular intervals.
The aging takes place in French oak barriques for 30 months and refined in the bottle for a further 18 months before being put on the market.
