Montessu Agricola Punica is a Sardinian red wine, produced in the Sulcis area.

The grapes used are partly native vines and partly French grapes and the wine is aged in barrique for about 12 months.

Montessu Agricola Punica is a savory and fresh red wine, the tannins are silky and overall softness dominates; on the nose we find black cherry and cherries, with a spicy note and black pepper in the background.

It lends itself to various combinations, however, all based on meat or fairly fatty dishes.
