Vigna Flaminia Maremmana is a red from Montefalco produced by Arnaldo Caprai, one of the most representative names in the area. It is a blend of Sangiovese and Sagrantino, aged 14 months and 6 months in the bottle. It has a good evolutionary potential despite being ready to drink right away. Intense notes of cherry and plum open the aromatic range, followed by sweet spices and licorice; warm and structured on the palate, it is not too demanding a wine but still requires combinations rich in flavor, perfect with polenta and wild boar.
