St. Magdalener Klassisch Heilmann Josephus Mayr is a full-bodied, elegant wine made from old vines and has great aging potential.

The varieties that compose it are Schiava piccolo, Schiava rossa, and Lagrein; the soils are porphyritic and gravelly of morainic origin and the vines are over 20 years old. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature, with a contact period on the skins of one week; malolactic fermentation follows and a short refinement in small and medium-sized oak barrels.

The St. Magdalener Klassisch Heilmann Josephus Mayr is a wine with an intense ruby red color that releases hints of almonds and ripe fruits with notes of violet. In the mouth it is full, warm, noble with soft tannins.
