Nizza DOCG "Pomorosso" 2019 1.5 lt Coppo in wooden box

Nizza Pomorosso Coppo, this wine owes its name to the presence, on the top of the original vineyard, of a red apple tree.

Pomorosso is undoubtedly the most prestigious Barbera among those produced by Coppo, it has contributed essentially to the rebirth of this vine.

Pomorosso Coppo, produced only in years of great qualitative value, comes from a soil of marine sedimentary origin, characterized by a strong presence of minerals which give the wine great finesse, minerality and longevity.

The magnum version is put on the market with few extra months of aging and preserved in the wooden box.

With an intense purple red colour, Pomorosso Coppo reveals intense aromas of violet, blackberry and cherry on the nose, with a mineral finish of graphite. On the palate it is structured and enveloping.

It pairs perfectly with veal stew with Barbera, pickled pheasant and mature cheeses.
