The Bolgheri Rosso Camarcanda Ca' Marcanda is a Tuscan red wine produced by Gaja, a Piedmontese company that saw very high potential in the Bolgheri area, thus giving life to Camarcanda, a company with 100 hectares of property, which produces wines of great value while remaining in harmony with the surrounding nature.
This Bolgheri Rosso Camarcanda can be defined as the greatest expression of the territory, and an identifying symbol of Gaja's Tuscan project.
A wine with a Bordeaux blend, it is a harmonious blend of the complementary characteristics of 50% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Cabernet Franc. Specifically, Merlot gives this wine a soft tannin, elegant and fruity notes, while Cabernet gives structure, herbaceous aromas and marked tannins at the same time.
The experience of the company and its approach have allowed us to obtain a very high quality wine.
The refinement in barrique lasts 18 months and then completes maturation after a further 12 months in the bottle before being placed on the market.
The Camarcanda wine shows its intense ruby red in the glass. On the nose you can immediately perceive the intensity of its aromas of red fruits, spicy aromas and roasted coffee, in the mouth it is balanced, soft and structured.
