Heimbourg is a lieu dit which is part of the grand cru Brand, one of the most important vineyards in Alsace and planted almost entirely with riesling; in this plot the soil is more calcareous and this gives the wine finesse and elegance.

The vinification is traditional, with fermentation and aging in foudres, very old oak barrels.

The Riesling "Heimbourg" Zind Humbrecht is an incredible white wine, the fresh and fruity part typical of the vine emerges on the nose but also notes of hydrocarbon and spices given by the terroir.

The evolutionary potential is incredible, in 20 years it will still be in perfect shape.
