"Concerto Grosso" Elena Walch is a fresh and immediate Gewurztraminer. An elegant white wine with character.
It comes from a selection of the best grapes, coming from medium altitude vineyards at 400 meters located in Tramin, an area very suitable for the production of this vine.
Before fermentation there is a maceration of about 6 hours on the skins. The grapes are then softly pressed and the must undergoes static clarification. Subsequently it is fermented in steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 18°C. The wine then ages for a few months on its lees in stainless steel containers.
Concerto Grosso Elena Walch is a Gewürztraminer that will be remembered. Bright yellow in colour, it has an intense and refined bouquet, playing on notes of grapefruit and citrus fruits together with floral and spicy scents; the sip is supported by a fresh and savory vein that gives verticality and tension, with a long persistence.
To drink accompanied by a slice of seared salmon with soy sauce and wasabi.
