Ovello is one of the grand crus of Barbaresco, a vineyard with a perfect soil and exposure for the cultivation of Nebbiolo. Vinified with a long maceration, it ages for 36 months in oak barrels and for 9 months in the bottle. The bouquet is large and delicate, floral and fruity notes are followed by hints of cocoa and tobacco. This delicacy is found on the palate, with fine and silky tannins and a long savory finish. To be enjoyed with game dishes or even with white truffle tajarin.
