Steinraffler is one of the most important vineyards owned by the Hofstatter estate; the Lagrein grapes used for this wine come from here.

The grapes are subjected to a short period of maceration, the must ferments for about 10 days. During fermentation the must remains in continuous contact with the skins. After vinification it rests for 15 months in barrique and another 7 months in the bottle.

The Lagrein Vigna Steinraffler Hofstatter is a dense and structured wine, with dense but silky tannins and a vein of acidity that stimulates salivation and recalls fatty and full-bodied foods. Bring it to a dinner with your friends and it will always make you look good.
